We value our customers' experience at Our Redeemer Lutheran Preschool. Below are some client testimonials we wanted to share.
My name is Lee Ann Faeth. Over the past 5 years, my family’s life has been enriched in so many ways and I am always happy to share our experience. Our introduction to Our Redeemer Preschool, Winnetka, CA began when I started searching for a preschool for my son Avery, who was 2 at the time. He had been enrolled part time in another school for a few months and my husband and I were not happy with the quality of care he was receiving. We also had two other good friends who had their daughters enrolled in the same school and we decided collectively to start searching for another school to put our children in together. We were all working parents but made a plan to take the day off and spread out across the valley in search of the right school for our children. After a long day of touring schools without success, we all went back to our offices feeling defeated. Earlier in the day, I had driven by Our Redeemer while viewing another school and after work, I felt strongly compelled to stop by the school.
I knew from the first moment I met Patti Smith, the Director, that the Lord had answered my prayers. She was so joyful and filled with the Spirit of the Lord and as I toured the school with her, I felt like I had come home. I immediately called my friends and within weeks all three of our children were enrolled.
Now, 5 years later, our son has moved on to elementary school and our daughter Noelle is attending Our Redeemer for her second year. Through the years, our children have been nurtured both academically and spiritually with the patience and guidance of all of the wonderful teachers here. The entire staff has gone above and beyond what I ever expected and always made my children feel like they are at a home away from home. We have also met so many families and both our children and Jordan (my husband) and I have made what I hope to be some life long friendships.
When our son was diagnosed with a life-limiting neuromuscular disorder just before his third birthday, all of the staff rallied around us and provided us with a tremendous amount of prayer and support as they still do to this day. They even began annual fundraising by supporting the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) and hosting an annual Hop-A-Thon in honor of Avery to help raise much needed funds to find a cure. I have a considerable amount of respect and love for each of the teachers and staff that have been at Our Redeemer throughout our journey and admire each of them for doing the Lord’s work and providing love and compassion to each and every one of the children that passes through the front door.
It has given my husband and me tremendous peace of mind, knowing our children have had such a positive, loving, Christ filled beginning to their school years, and The Lord has continued to bless us and fill our lives with his spirit as we now are attending the church on a regular basis. There are not many times in my life I have felt something so “right” without hesitation and am grateful every day for finding my way to Our Redeemer. My wish is that every family that comes to the school can share in the same joy and have the spirit touch them in the way Christ has so graciously blessed our family.
Our children had wonderful experiences while attending Our Redeemer Lutheran School. The atmosphere is warm, and friendly, and the children immediately sense the loving care they will receive in a safe and secure environment. The teachers are caring and dedicated in helping each child grow in knowledge, while developing socially and emotionally. It is apparent that the teachers love little children and there is a true involvement and commitment by each teacher toward each child. The school provides a stimulating educational experience that is appropriate for each age group. Our Redeemer Lutheran School is a happy place where children can grow and learn. It is always reassuring to parents to know that your children are being well cared for. We highly recommend Our Redeemer Lutheran School to any family who is seeking an outstanding educational experience in a nurturing, and loving environment.
All three of our children began their early childhood education at Our Redeemer Lutheran School. They received a wonderful foundation as they grew physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. They developed important skills that were needed for later educational successes. We have always found the dedicated and experienced staff to be loving, caring, and nurturing. Our Redeemer Lutheran School makes each child and each family feel as if they are an important part of the school. While at Our Redeemer Lutheran School, our children were involved in many exciting extracurricular activities, creating many fond memories. They will always remember the many musical productions they participated in, the Halloween parades, Fall Festivals, the Thanksgiving feasts, the Christmas Pageants, St. Jude’s Trike-a-Thons, Grandparent’s Day, Mother’s Day Tea, Father’s Day Breakfast, and the annual Sock Hop, to name just a few.
At Our Redeemer our children thrived as they received an outstanding education, developed lasting friendships, and created life-time memories. When our son, Ryan graduates from Our Redeemer Lutheran School it will be a day of celebration and sadness, as Our Redeemer School has been such an important part of our family’s life for so many years. We encourage any family who is looking for a nurturing, and loving school that offers a curriculum that is interesting and exciting, to enroll their child at Our Redeemer Lutheran School! You will be glad you did. We certainly are!
Our large extended family counted on Our Redeemer Lutheran School for the childcare needs and early education of our young children. Our extended family has had five children who have attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School. We have always been pleased with the safe and caring environment at Our Redeemer and we wouldn’t consider placing our young children in another childcare. Our Redeemer has been much more than daycare for our children, as it has provided our children with the very best early childhood education, and has been like a home away from home for our children. A strong educational foundation was formed at Our Redeemer and all our children’s educational instruction has been supported by that strong foundation. All our children have loving memories of the years they have spent at Our Redeemer Lutheran School, and so do we. As working parents, we have always been comforted to know our children were well cared for, safe, and happy. The loving staff gently guided our children in Christian morals and values, while teaching them about Jesus’ love. We love to tell others what Our Redeemer Lutheran School has meant to our family!
Our children, Kristina and David, have attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School for the last several years. They are always eager to go to school and enjoy each day they spend learning and playing with their friends. The educated and experienced teachers are enthusiastic about teaching and make learning fun. It never ceases to amaze us how much our children learn each and every day. The Pre-school and Kindergarten curriculums are both challenging and very interesting to the children. Our Redeemer Lutheran School truly prepares young children for a lifetime of learning. Our children have developed the love of learning while attending Our Redeemer. Along with a strong academic foundation, Our Redeemer encourages children to be creative. Our children have enjoyed the opportunity to explore artistic expression, and music appreciation. They also thoroughly enjoy the afternoon gymnastics/dance class. My husband and I appreciate the Christian values and excellent Christ-centered education our children have received while attending Our Redeemer Lutheran School. We enjoy telling other families about Our Redeemer’s Lutheran School’s wonderful program and what blessing it has been to our family.
We could never express our gratitude nearly enough for the circle of love you have provided our foster child. We thank you for your constant prayer, consistent discipline, patience, joy , kindness and care. Considering his difficult circumstances as a foster child, he has learned so much about our LOVING GOD thanks to all of you. The call to foster parenting can be lonely and very challenging, yet we have received such compassion and support from each and every member of the staff. We know not what the future holds for him, but we trust that our God will continue place him in the hands of people who care.
